Long Time no Blog.....

I have not written a blog since august 30. It has been a while. Times now have changed a LOT, 3r term has started last January 4, I m no longer in a block section......Last December 19 my band Drive Thru made its 1st ever gig at Cafe Lupe.

Its been 2 long

It has been 2 months since I last placed my entry. It now our sembreak and I m at taft now to claim my course cards, so far I haved passed Insocio,Pe,Filipino... hope hindi ako bumagsak sa algeb.

Pasok na bukas

ilan araw na ako dito sa bahay,wala nga magawa dito kungdi mag YM o Friendster, enjoy din ako noong biernes nanood kami ng mayonnaise at kjwan sa le pavillon noong frosh nite.... Astig sila hehehe at tumambay kami ng blockmates ko sa blue wave sa macapagal ave. FT kami doon at pumunta kami ni Mari at Wacky sa Bf para kumain ng Shawarma, Lasing nga silang dalawa. Ngayon ng eenjoy na ako sa csb daming gimik at aral hehehe....

What has happened to Plaridel?

Ever since November we never had jamming sessions because most of the members were busy in school and work but we manage to compose some original songs we were recorded but never released it.

Creating a Band Tips

Based on my own experience in forming a band I would suggest you some tips in what to do to get you band roster started.

If you the one starting a band and looking for members I would suggest that you get members who are also beginners chances are if you jam regularly that person would improve in playing his guitar, bass or drums or better yet get someone is an amatuer( used to have a band ) but dosent have a band at present in that way he or she could help you in were you have to improve in. I strongly discourage getting a member who is into drugs or who is a professional chances are if he is into drugs the band would not last longer than you expected ( remember Nathan Azarcon was taken out of Rivermaya because he had a drug problem and the band almost broke out). Dont get a real Professional tendencies are he could control your band and 1 by 1 taking you out and replacing a better person he will defenitly not get along with you beginner friends.

How would my life be " If my dad were alive "

I done a lot of thinkings about my dad being alive and I finaly realized that things could have gone diffrent right now. My dad passed away in October 21 1993 I was just 7 around that time and I had no knowledge on what has been really going on, my mom simply just said that my dad just died.

Now if my dad were alive right now I could have have failed Grade 4 and I could have at lease gotten an honor. My dad always reviews me after school when I get home.

I could now be on my 3rd year in College ( 2005 ) and looking for a job right now and I could have studied at Ateneo De Manila or De La Salle University. Things could change if the person you love has passed away it affects us in our heart. God knows whats good and whats not for us.

Why Are You Still a College Freshmen? ( 2005 )

- Back In Southridge I repeated Grade 4 and I had an attitude problem which they ( Southridge ) ignored. They dint give me a chance to take summer in which I could have passed that year I would just say that Southridge is a hard school to study in and I will never let my son study there and at the same time I was forced to take Grade 7 at The Learning Child. I could have accelerate to 1st Year at that time but was not given any chance.

How good are you in playing the Guitar?

- I dont consider myself as a professinal in playing the guitar im just an amatuer in it. I have plenty of idols in guitar playing like Mike Enzinger, Jimmy Page, Slash but I could not play like them. Im not a PRO hehehehe

How long you played the guitar?

- I have started to play the guitar in 1998 I was 12 at that time I was admitted in to The Learning Chilld's Appiled Music Program. The 1st songs I mastered were The Romance, It might Be You, Fallen, I stopped around 2001 and I was into self study and improved.

Who is Gio " Doods"?

His just an ordinary guy who lives down south ( Parañaque) who lives a simple life and is just a simple person. He is mostly respected by other people but once you get to know him you will find out why he is called the " Doods ".
